đź§ľ The Role
As a Tax Manager (Real Estate Focus), you will manage engagements end‑to‑end while serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee tax engagements from planning through delivery
- Prepare, review, and manage complex tax returns for C‑Corps, S‑Corps, Partnerships, and multi‑state entities
- Lead real estate tax engagements (residential, commercial, industrial, land, special‑purpose entities)
- Review and prepare complex tax planning projections
- Conduct advanced tax research and draft technical memoranda
- Liaise with the IRS and state agencies on audits, notices, and inquiries
- Delegate work effectively and mentor junior and senior staff
- Assist with business development, proposals, and fee quotes
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing team development
- Collaborate closely with Partners on client strategy and firm initiatives
🎯 Ideal Profile
- CPA or EA required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- 7 years of public accounting experience
- Strong exposure to individual, corporate, and partnership taxation
- Real estate tax experience strongly preferred
- Proven leadership, communication, and client‑facing skills
