We are supporting a great clients of ours, a highly respected firm in Northeast Florida that is experiencing continued growth and is looking to add an Assurance Manager to their team. The Opportunity
The Assurance Manager will take ownership of audit and review engagements, manage client relationships, and lead and develop high‑performing teams. This is a hands‑on leadership role with strong partner visibility and clear long‑term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of audit and review engagements across multiple industries
- Review financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, acting as a trusted advisor
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations related to internal controls and business processes
- Supervise, mentor, and develop audit seniors and staff
- Collaborate with firm partners on engagement strategy, risk assessment, and client service delivery
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to firm‑wide initiatives
- Support business development efforts and assist in expanding client relationships
- Stay current on auditing standards, regulations, and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5 years of public accounting experience with progressive responsibility in audit/assurance
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
- Proven experience managing engagements and leading teams
- CPA license preferred or actively working toward licensure
- Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
Compensation & Benefits
- $105,000 – $130,000 base salary, plus performance‑based bonus (flexible based on experience)
