Position Summary:
Vernon Memorial Healthcare is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative and patient-focused environment while delivering high-quality care in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg patients
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications/treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
- Respond effectively in fast-paced clinical situations
Requirements:
- Active RN License required
- Minimum 5 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
