Job Description
Position Summary:
Grays Harbor Community Hospital is seeking an experienced House Supervisor RN for a 13-week night shift contract assignment. The House Supervisor RN will oversee hospital operations during assigned shifts, support clinical staff, ensure appropriate staffing levels, and provide leadership in patient care coordination and operational management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate hospital operations during night shifts
- Maintain safe and efficient staffing levels across clinical departments
- Provide leadership and support to nursing and clinical staff
- Respond effectively to patient, family, physician, and staff concerns
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient care standards
- Assist with patient flow, admissions, and operational coordination
- Demonstrate strong intervention and conflict resolution skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
Requirements:
- Active Washington RN License
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 4 years of recent clinical nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of nursing leadership experience preferred
- Strong multitasking, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
