Smart Circle International is a leading broker of outsourced sales and customer acquisition services. We help clients and independently owned and operated sales companies grow together through versatile in-person marketing and sales campaigns inside retailers, businesses and through door-to-door canvassing. We have corporate offices in Newport Beach and Toronto.

Position Overview And Impact

We’re searching for a thoughtful, detail-driven Compliance Specialist to join our team. If you enjoy solving problems, talking with people, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this role might be a great fit.

You’ll lead investigations, connect with small business owners, and use data to help us spot risks and improve how we work. You’ll also play a key role in making sure our partners represent our clients with professionalism and care. The Basics

• Location: Remote (Work from Home)
• Compensation: $60,000-$75,000/year, commensurate with experience, bonus potential*
• Travel: Up to 20%
• Reports to: Senior Campaign Manager
  
  

Primary Functions

• Manage compliance cases from start to finish, using internal alerts or client activity to guide your investigations
• Connect with small business owners to understand issues, explain expectations, and collaborate on solutions
• Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and risks that could impact client trust or operations
• Monitor field standards like dress, customer service, and brand presence to ensure a consistent, professional experience
• Identify and report potential fraud or policy violations, and represent client brands clearly and appropriately
• Document findings in clear, actionable reports for internal teams and field partners
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Support teams to ensure fair and consistent policy application
• Stay current on client requirements and help improve compliance processes
• Keep communications, calendars, and casework organized using tools like Salesforce or Smartsheet
• Provide support on various projects and initiatives to help drive team and client success
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications and Expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in compliance, investigations, or a similar client-facing role
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through, and keep detailed records
• Confident communicator - able to lead conversations, explain data clearly, and build trust with clients and internal teams
• Comfortable managing email volume, scheduling, and casework across tools like Salesforce, Smartsheet, or similar CRMs

The compensation range reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
