Allies Tax is seeking a dedicated and proactive Compliance Specialist to join our team and to serve as the primary point of contact between our company and its clients. In this role, you will be responsible for addressing client inquiries and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction throughout the tax process. You will work closely with our tax professionals and support staff to meet client needs, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain strong, ongoing relationships. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone, email, and other communication channels regarding required documentation and updates
- Respond promptly and professionally to client questions, concerns, and feedback
- Coordinate with internal tax preparers and administrative teams to ensure client needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Track client interactions and update relevant records in CRM and tax management systems
- Follow up on client communications to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or improvement
- Receive, review, and process all tax-related documentation submitted by clients in a timely and accurate manner
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual candidates are needed
- Proven experience in customer service or a related field.
- Strong office skills including proficiency in data entry and use of office software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive tax documents
- Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously during peak tax seasons
