What will I be doing?
We are looking for an individual who has experience in assembling electromechanical component parts and pieces while adhering to a specified set of blueprints and schematics. They will verify the correct quantities of component parts, check completed items, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

We are looking for an individual who has experience in assembling electromechanical component parts and pieces while adhering to a specified set of blueprints and schematics. They will verify the correct quantities of component parts, check completed items, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Assemble complex electromechanical components and systems following engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
- Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and performance specifications.
- Precision soldering of small electronic components, including surface-mount and through-hole devices as well as cable assemblies.
- Repairs/modifications to PCBA's.
- Assist in troubleshooting/diagnosing assembly issues and performing rework or repairs as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members and managers to meet production targets.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Document assembly processes, test results, and any deviations from standard procedures via computer systems, such as Google Sheet, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Knowledge of electronics, components, and principles
- Proficient English communication skills, verbal and written
- Logical reasoning, problem solving, and attention to detail
- Highly dependable
- Proficient in Google Suite: google sheets, google docs, etc
- The ability to work overtime as needed (including Saturdays)
- Flexible schedule
- Proficient in precision soldering
- Electromechanical and cable assembly skills/experience
- Knowledgeable of basic equipment such as hand soldering, screw and drill guns
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Able to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and technical orders
- Excellent time management skills
- SMT Rework Experience
- This position is based in the Irvine, CA office
- The position is ON-SITE, FULL TIME, non-exempt, Monday - Friday
