Refrigerated LTL | Multi-State Runs | Paid Fuel & Tolls
SLS Transportation is actively seeking Owner Operators for consistent, long-term refrigerated LTL freight. We offer flexible partnership options—run under your authority or ours.
Position Overview
- Multi-state operation across Midwest, South, East Coast & New England
- Refrigerated LTL freight (multi-stop loads)
- Routes may be updated by dispatch (no driver modifications allowed)
- 25% touch freight (included in daily rate)
Area of Operation
NJ, PA, OH, VA, WV, MD, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, LA, MS, MO, AR, TX, TN, KY, IN, IL, MI, IA, MN, WI, MA, CT, NH, RI
Schedule Expectations
- Minimum 2 weeks out (3–4 weeks preferred)
- Must be flexible with varying start times
- Expected to run full 14-hour DOT clock when needed
- DOT 34-hour reset break (not paid)
Equipment Requirements
- Sleeper truck (tandem axle, 80,000 GVW)
- 53’ Reefer trailer (tandem axle, swing doors)
(Required outside NJ/PA)
PAY OPTIONS (Fuel & Tolls Covered)

- Truck Only (NJ/PA only): $750/day

- Truck & Trailer: $750/day
- Truck Only (NJ/PA only): $650/day
Onboarding takes ~1 week
- Equipment installation & deposit required
