Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a CDL-A Owner Operator, where you’ll take control of your driving career by operating your own tractor-trailer to deliver freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service. As an Owner Operator, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring timely deliveries using your expertise in Intermodal Trucking. You will be home each night delivery with a delivery radious of 350 miles from Memphis TN.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers across local and regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Handle diverse freight types including refrigerated goods, hazmat, and general cargo with precision and care
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, load details, and delivery documentation for compliance and record-keeping purposes

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL-A license and 1 year experience.
• Prior delivery driver experience handling Intermodal freight is preferred.
• Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices to maximize efficiency and safety
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to tractor-trailer operations and cargo securement

Pay: $1,500.00 - $4,500.00 per week
