Job Description: Owner Operator (Local/Regional – Refrigerated LTL Freight)
We are seeking dependable Owner Operators to run local and regional routes hauling refrigerated LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight.
Position Overview:
- Operate within a 450-mile radius
- Monday through Friday
- Flexible start times between midnight and 11:00 AM
- Workdays may run up to the full legal 14-hour limit
- Two-day trips are common
Freight & Responsibilities:
- Haul refrigerated general freight (LTL)
- Routes include multiple stops
- Manifests may change during trips (drivers cannot alter manifests)
- Some loads require manual unloading
- Use of pallet jack and/or lift gate
Compensation:
- $750 per day – Operating under your own authority (no trailer provided)
- Option to run under company authority: $650 per day
- All fuel paid by company
- Tolls reimbursed
- Consistent freight and steady pay
Additional Information:
- Unpaid DOT 34-hour reset
- Must maintain professionalism, reliability, and compliance with DOT regulations
