This position is responsible for prioritizing, organizing, assembling, packing, moving, staging, and processing material within the packaging department with regard to efficiency, quality and safety. Responsibilities:Packs outgoing materials and products.Counts items shipped and records any discrepancies.Assembles and packages various types of materials and finished products.Use various materials to pack products. Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to organizational standards and policies, and legal regulations. Specific Skills and Knowledge Required:Ability to read and interpret a work orderFamiliarity with general assembly methodsAbility to memorize and recognize parts by number and finish.Ability to interpret detailed job paperwork and instructionsAbility to work cooperatively with others as well as work independently.Willingness to cross-train and rotate positions effectively.Willingness to work overtime hours as needed.Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
