Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and creative YouTube and Social Media Assistant to support the development and distribution of both long-form and short-form videos across all our social media channels. This role involves assisting in content creation, including planning, organizing, and occasionally appearing in videos, as well as managing community engagement and performance analysis to enhance our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Preparation and Filming:
- Assist in planning and organizing video shoots, including purchasing and creating props, and setting up the environment to align with the creative vision.
- Participate in filming, operating cameras, and ensuring high-quality footage.
- Occasionally appear on camera as part of the content, contributing to on-screen discussions and activities.
- Pre-Production Support:
- Assist in organizing production schedules and coordinating logistics.
- Help with location scouting and securing necessary permits.
- Prepare and distribute scripts, call sheets, and other production documents.
- On-Set Duties:
- Set up and break down equipment before and after shoots.
- Operate cameras, lighting, and sound equipment during filming.
- Occasionally participate on camera as needed for various productions.
- Manage crowd control and ensure a secure set environment.
- Relay messages between crew members and support talent as needed.
- Post-Production Assistance:
- Organize and archive footage and other media assets.
- Coordinate with editors and other post-production staff to ensure timely project completion.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Handle errands such as purchasing supplies and managing petty cash.
- Maintain an organized inventory of equipment and materials.
- Assist with travel arrangements and accommodations for cast and crew.
- Social Media Management:
- Schedule and publish posts, ensuring consistent and timely content delivery.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement.
- Stay updated on platform trends and algorithm changes to optimize content reach.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Track performance metrics such as views, engagement, and follower growth.
- Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for content improvement.
- Collaborative Support:
- Coordinate with team members to brainstorm and develop new content ideas.
- Assist in managing collaborations with other influencers and brands.
Qualifications:
- Experience in content creation and familiarity with social media platforms.
