Custodian / Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. We take pride in keeping our facility safe, clean, and professional for our employees and visitors. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian / Cleaner to maintain cleanliness in our offices, bathrooms, and shop areas.

Schedule

• Part-time, flexible hours
• 3 days per week (2–4 hours per shift, up to 12 hours total)
• Work hours can be scheduled around your availability (evenings preferred but flexible)

Responsibilities

• Conduct janitorial duties in warehouse, office, and fabrication/manufacturing settings, adhering to safety standards.
• Perform routine warehouse and fabrication area cleaning tasks including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and wet mopping.
• Upkeep shop floor robot vacuum cleaners; change filters, empty bags, return to dock, etc.
• Clean and restock all restrooms and utility sink areas as required.
• Clean all commonly contacted surfaces; doors, door frames, microwaves, fridges, drinking fountains, etc.
• Empty all trash bins (office, bathrooms, warehouse, and shop) and replace liners.
• Clean trash bins, or replace with new bins, when required.
• Break down cardboard boxes and prepare them for trash disposal.
• Collect dropped screws, PEMs, or other inventory and return to "go-back" location.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and consumables.
• Seasonal outdoor cleaning may be required, such as leaf blowing and window cleaning.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Must be 18 and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
