About Us
SLIGER is a US-based manufacturer of high-performance PC cases, servers, and custom enclosures. All products are designed and built in-house at our Smithfield, Utah facility. We're looking for motivated individuals to join our production floor as Shop Hands, with opportunities to grow into more skilled and higher wage positions over time.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate hardware presses and assist press brake department as needed.
- Operate oscillating discs, polish wheels, sanding belts, files, and other deburring equipment.
- Operate TimeSaver equipment to grain parts and remove scratches.
- Safely shake out sheet metal parts from laser/punch skeletons, shear and discard skeletons into scrap bins.
- Count, QC, and organize parts coming from Laser/Punch departments.
- Cleaning of parts by hand or in washing equipment.
- Assist with powder coating line operation.
- Move parts between departments using pallet jacks, carts, and racks.
- Assist with loading/unloading Punch and Laser machines.
- Operate forklift for moving materials, loading/unloading trucks.
- Support preparation for packaging and shipping.
- Perform basic cleaning duties (sweeping floors, dusting/vacuuming tables, emptying trash, organizing tools, cleaning machinery).
- Assist with other shop and process-related tasks as required.
Requirements
- No experience required — training provided.
- Good hygiene and professionalism.
- Ability to read, interpret, and complete basic work forms.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- No baggy/loose clothing or jewelry; comfortable closed-toe shoes required (boots recommended).
