Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, utilizing hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate records of guest reservations, cancellations, and special requests.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, addressing inquiries or directing calls as necessary.
- Assist in resolving guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
- Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk role within the hotel or resort industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- A background in hospitality or related fields will be beneficial.
