Front Desk Agent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred, along with proficiency in phone systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations promptly using hotel management software.
• Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
• Conduct night audits as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting and balancing of accounts.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel policies and procedures to assist guests effectively.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
• Process payments and manage cash handling procedures accurately.
• Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally, directing them to the appropriate departments when necessary.
• Assist multilingual guests by providing information in their preferred language when possible.

Experience

• Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and phone systems is advantageous.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing reservations and guest requests effectively.
• A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding service are key traits for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
