Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces with precision and care.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing as needed.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure all areas are well-equipped for guest comfort.
- Follow established safety protocols and cleaning procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Use industrial cleaning equipment effectively to maintain floors and carpets in top condition, ensuring a polished appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest service is essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with custodial equipment and industrial cleaning tools is advantageous; housekeeping management experience is a plus.
