Sleep Inn & Suites is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience by providing exceptional customer service, handling guest check-ins and check-outs, answering inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a timely manner.
- Make, modify, and cancel room reservations using the hotel's property management system.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Process payments, maintain accurate cash handling procedures, and balance daily transactions.
- Maintain accurate guest records and update reservation information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure room readiness and resolve guest issues.
- Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining, and transportation.
- Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.
- Assist with administrative tasks, filing, and preparing daily reports as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer skills; experience with hotel property management systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts if needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

- Ability to move throughout the hotel as needed.
