Job Summary (Exempt)
The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while driving performance, profitability, and team engagement. This role leads a team of spa professionals, upholds the highest standards of service, and partners with leadership across the property to achieve business objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Lead applicant interviews, hiring, onboarding, and training of all spa staff.
- Provide direction, coaching, and performance feedback for direct reports.
- Establish departmental training programs and ensure continuous professional development.
- Educate and motivate staff on upselling spa services and retail products.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support company objectives and assist in developing and managing the annual spa budget.
- Monitor spa performance through guest satisfaction metrics, financial results, and operational reports.
- Control revenues and expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
- Prepare and distribute weekly and periodic performance reports to leadership.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and General Manager to design and execute short- and long-term promotional and marketing campaigns.
- Partner with Talent, Learning & Culture to drive employee engagement, training, and compliance.
- Set clear performance expectations for spa staff and hold the team accountable.
- Investigate guest or staff incidents, ensuring corrective action and follow-up measures.
- Manage inventory, supply ordering, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain spa security protocols and oversee communication systems.
- Foster collaborative relationships with hotel leadership and shared service teams.
- Build and sustain business relationships with key clients, vendors, and industry partners.
- Oversee spa membership programs, ensuring strong member engagement and retention.
- Direct and coordinate service delivery, pricing strategies, retail sales, and distribution.
- Review financial statements and operational data to track productivity and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare staff schedules, assign responsibilities, and manage workforce planning.
- Stay informed of regional and national spa trends to incorporate into services and offerings.
- Oversee product selection, including skin care, cosmetics, and retail items, ensuring quality treatments and revenue potential.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience in spa operations required.
- Minimum of three years of leadership experience in the spa or luxury hospitality industry preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the spa facility, including extended periods of walking and standing.
- Manual dexterity to type, process paperwork, and operate office equipment.
- Ability to lift or carry light objects such as supplies and paperwork.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
