What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop a team of machinists in a precision machining environment
- Oversee multiple concurrent jobs, balancing priorities to meet production schedules and customer demands
- Use data to drive decisions—analyzing performance, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints
- Build and maintain Excel-based tools (pivot tables, dashboards, trackers) to improve visibility and planning
- Partner with engineering, CNC programming, and quality to resolve production challenges
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput and efficiency
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in machining, including overseeing production and/or leading a team of machinists
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field highly preferred
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis, reporting) — critical for success in this role
- Ability to think strategically while staying hands-on on the shop floor
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume environments strongly preferred
- Proven problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
