SkyBar Bartender

The SkyBar Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service in a high-energy, upscale, and guest-focused environment. This role combines mixology, customer service, and bar management skills to create memorable experiences in line with SkyBeach Resort’s “barefoot luxury” brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and quality standards.

• Provide exceptional guest service, engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, specials, and promotions to provide recommendations and upsell when appropriate.

• Ensure bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

• Assist with inventory management, including restocking, tracking usage, and reporting low-stock items.

• Coordinate with barbacks and other support staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.

• Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service.

• Set up and break down bar stations for each shift and special events.

• Follow all resort safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.

• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately when required.

• Attend staff meetings and training sessions to maintain skill and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

• 2 years bartending experience in a fast-paced or high-volume bar (bonus points for beach or resort experience)

• Strong knowledge of cocktail techniques, garnishes, and spirits

• Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused with a team-player mindset

• Able to work on your feet for long hours and lift up to 50 lbs

• Flexible schedule with availability on weekends and holidays

• Current alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) preferred
