At Thrive Autism Services, the BCBA is responsible for developing and overseeing individualized ABA treatment plans, conducting functional behavior assessments, and providing ongoing clinical evaluation using data-driven adjustments. The role includes supervising RBTs, collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams (SLPs, OTs, and schools), and leading parent training to support skill development across environments. The BCBA uses clinical expertise and data analysis to guide treatment decisions while ensuring ethical, high-quality, client-centered care. The mission is to help individuals with autism learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized ABA treatment plans based on client needs
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop behavior intervention strategies
- Monitor client progress through ongoing data collection and make data-driven program adjustments
- Provide clinical oversight, supervision, and coaching to RBTs and other support staff
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams (SLPs, OTs, school staff)
- Conduct parent training sessions to support skill development and behavior management at home
- Ensure all ABA programs are delivered in an ethical, client-centered, and high-quality manner
- Analyze behavioral data to guide treatment decisions and improve outcomes
- Support skill development across communication, social, academic, and daily living areas
- Maintain proper documentation, reports, and compliance with ABA standards and regulations
Skills and Qualification
- Current BCBA certification (BACB required)
- Active Arizona Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license or eligible to obtain
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
