We currently have part-time DSP positions available on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts in Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata and Perry Counties!
We have full-time positions available in: Alexandria, Belleville, and New Bloomfield that we would love to discuss with you! All positions require a weekend (Saturday and Sunday, every other weekend) rotation and a holiday rotation.
Our full-time positions are as follows:
- Alexandria: Daylight position (7a-3p) w/ weekend rotation
- Alexandria: Evening position (3p-11p) w/ weekend rotation
- Belleville: Awake Overnight position (11p-7a) w/ weekend rotation
- New Bloomfield: Daylight position (7a-3p) w/ weekend rotation
- New Bloomfield: Daylight/Evening position (works four days per week, one 12-hr shift 7a-7p, two 10-hour shifts 6a-4p and 7a-5p) w/ weekend rotation (7a-3p)
- New Bloomfield: Evening position (3p-11p) w/ weekend rotation
We have part-time positions available on various shifts, depending on location, in as well as Alexandria, Belleville, Huntingdon, Lewistown, McVeytown, Mifflintown, and New Bloomfield.
We offer differentials for evening and overnight shifts and weekend hours worked. Pay rate is based on experience.

About the Job
Skills is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in our residential group homes. DSPs are the key to the services we provide for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The job is not for everyone, but it is both challenging and rewarding. As a DSP you will:
- Utilize person-centered Individual Support Plans to assess and support a person’s needs
- Assist individuals with disabilities with their daily living, independence skills, and personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, feeding, cooking, cleaning, etc.)
- Accompany individuals to and from appointments and community activities
- Help people foster meaningful relationships with people in the community
- Administer medication(s), after you receive thorough training
- Complete appropriate documentation

About the Requirements
You do not need prior experience or a college degree to become a Direct Support Professional. In fact, we’ll provide all of the training and certification you need to be successful. There are a few simple requirements you’ll need for the position:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Eligible to work in the United States
Salary : $16 - $20
