Training Specialist (IDD Program)

• They help coordinate and deliver the trainings that keep our employees informed, confident, and compliant.
• They act as administrators in Relias to ensure employees remain compliant with all training regulations.
• They deliver remote training through Zoom to reach new hires across Skills.
• They works across regions, which will require some travel.
• They ensure training materials are clear, current, and incorporate adult‑learning best practices.
• They are Medication Administration Trainers, American Red Cross First Aid/CPR Instructors, and Ukeru Trainers.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications and Media, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Human Resources, or other related field is preferred. 1 – 3 years of experience in the human services field is required. A strong training skill set is necessary including:

• Requires knowledge of commonly used concepts of adult learning.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The ability to train others to deliver training using a variety of acceptable training methods and techniques.
• The ability to develop curriculum, learning objectives, and/or course materials.
• The ability to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
• Experience in presenting information to groups of varying sizes and backgrounds
• Applicants must be highly proficient in utilizing MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

PA driver’s license required. Pre-employment physical and drug screening required. Moderate travel and willingness to work non-traditional hours on occasion are required.
