About the Role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities with industrial customers across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. This role requires a consultative sales professional who can leverage technical knowledge and commercial expertise to grow revenue and expand market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory growth strategy across targeted industrial markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at industrial facilities, EPC firms, consulting engineers, and contractors.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
- Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Conduct site visits, customer presentations, and technical sales discussions.
- Collaborate with operations, project management, safety, and engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Present business opportunities and growth initiatives to leadership.
Qualifications
- 5 years of business development or sales experience.
- Proven track record selling into industrial customers.
- Experience developing new business and managing large accounts.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
Required Skills
- Water treatment experience.
- Equipment rental experience.
- Industrial services or environmental services sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Existing network within Gulf Coast industrial markets.
