Skillforce is hiring an Electrical Assembly Technician to build and assemble electrical and mechanical products at a manufacturing facility in the Richmond, VA area. This is hands-on production work — following blueprints and schematics, wiring components, and using your trade skills every shift.
Pay:
- $24–$27 per hour, depending on experience
- Weekly pay
- Overtime available
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, day shift
- Occasional extra hours based on production needs
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components following blueprints and schematics
- Wire components and perform equipment hookups per specifications
- Cut, bend, and thread pipe as part of assembly work
- Apply carpentry and mechanical skills as needed on the production floor
- Keep work area organized and document completed work accurately
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in 2 or more trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or HVAC
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Working knowledge of the NEC
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Richmond, VA area
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
