Marketing Director
We are seeking a Marketing Director to join our team. This role is responsible for driving referrals, supporting census and quality mix goals, and building strong relationships within the healthcare and post-acute market.
Marketing Director Key Responsibilities
Conduct on-site evaluations of patient referrals and complete daily sales calls with target markets and referral sources
Identify patient and family needs and appropriately direct referrals to the facility
Represent the facility at community partner meetings and post-acute collaborative functions
Execute daily sales calls in alignment with business development plans, targets, and goals
Generate referrals to support census growth and quality mix objectives
Assist with the development and execution of strategic and business development plans, including market analysis, competitive positioning, core selling messages, and coordinated sales strategies
Conduct timely on-site patient evaluations following inquiries, with appropriate follow-up
Build and maintain positive working relationships with facility staff to support operational and referral needs
Perform bedside sales, assess transitional needs, and educate patients and families on facility services and admission standards
Collaborate with facility leadership to operationalize census goals, quality mix expectations, and referral processes
Communicate with the Facility Administrator to exceed customer expectations and address concerns or complaints as needed
Build and maintain relationships with program managers and directors throughout the market
Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned
Marketing Director Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare experience; licensed clinicians preferred but not required
Two (2) years of sales and/or marketing experience; case management experience preferred
Strong understanding of long-term care operations, including census management, quality mix goals, and referral expectations
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
High level of professionalism with ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels
Customer service–oriented with the ability to perform well under pressure
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative
Flexible, adaptable, approachable, and able to manage multiple priorities
Demonstrated integrity and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and referral sources
