What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychologist position at Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers?

Provide psychological testing and evaluation when relevant.
Complete treatment plans for all insurance.
Complete assessments, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other written documentation as needed.
Complete all necessary billing encounters.
Act as a treatment and resource person for other therapists in the Behavioral Health unit.
Monitor case records to ensure quality and professionalism with the Department Director.
Act as a resource person to other departments when needed.
Ongoing needs assessment for staff training purposes and assist in the implementation of in-service training programs in cooperation with the Department Director.
Developing and aiding in implementing new treatment programs under the supervision of the Department Director.
Supervising any interns working in Behavioral Health.
Perform after-hours on-call emergency triage.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling or Clinical Psychology; eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin.
Highly developed ability in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests, specifically, objective, projective, and cognitive test batteries.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated skills in clinical interviewing.
Demonstrated ability in group therapy, group management, individual therapy, and family counseling.
Supervisory skills needed to oversee the work of interns.
Demonstrated skills in consultation and the ability to work as part of a team.
