Job Summary:
SixAM Strategies is seeking an Analyst with a background or education in public affairs, communications, or media relations to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting reputation management and media strategy across a diverse portfolio of corporate clients. This position will help drive multi-state campaigns by securing local and regional media coverage, crafting compelling brand narratives, and engaging key voices—including reporters, local organizations, and policymakers—to elevate our clients' reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage grassroots field teams for various clients.
- Draft core communications and media materials, including press releases, talking points, media statements, and op-eds.
- Lead coverage tracking, including media monitoring and clipping.
- Assist with media outreach to local, regional, and national outlets.
- Conduct research on relevant client issues, legislative trends, and media landscapes.
- Develop client presentations, collateral materials, strategic plans, and campaign reports.
- Track project deliverables and serve as the day-to-day project manager for key accounts.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Position Requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience in public affairs, advocacy, or communications, ideally within an agency, political campaign, or in-house advocacy setting.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage tasks across multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the versatility to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Affairs, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
