Seeking a compassionate, reliable full-time, female caregiver to support a 78 year old woman who has Multiple Sclerosis and uses a wheelchair. This is a live-in position with a private, fully independent basement apartment included as part of compensation, located in Decatur.
Schedule: 40-60 hours/week (specific schedule to be discussed — please note any availability constraints)
Start date: Flexible
Responsibilities
- Assist with transfers in/out of bed and wheelchair
- Help with dressing and grooming
- Assist with bathing/showering
- Toileting and bathroom assistance
- Meal preparation
- Transportation to medical appointments and errands (use of family vehicle provided)
- Light housekeeping related to her care and living space
- General support throughout the day
Compensation & Benefits:
- $12/hour
