Position Type: Full-Time, Live-In (24/7 Care with Flexibility)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced live-in caregiver to provide full-time support for an elderly woman living with Parkinson’s Disease. This role is ideal for someone with a background in healthcare who is patient, attentive, and comfortable assisting with both personal care and household responsibilities. The position is long-term with no defined end date.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $1,000 per week
- Private, furnished living space (bedroom, bathroom, and den on upper floor)
- Free room and board (no rent or utilities)

- Supportive environment with monitoring tools to allow flexibility when stepping out
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide support with transfers, positioning, and safe movement
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer and monitor medications to ensure they are taken on schedule
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and general cleaning
- Monitor condition and respond appropriately to fluctuations in mobility and independence
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain awareness of the patient’s condition using in-home monitoring systems when briefly away
Candidate Requirements:
- Prior experience in caregiving, nursing, or healthcare (geriatrics experience strongly preferred)
- Nursing degree or formal healthcare training preferred but not required
- Experience working with Parkinson’s Disease or similar conditions is highly desirable
- Ability to assist safely with lifting, transfers, and mobility support
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially regarding medication schedules
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Ability to adapt to changing care needs
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license (preferred, not required)
- Must pass a background check
- Liability insurance

Schedule & Flexibility:

Pay: $52,000.00 per year
