What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Team - 1st & 2nd shift Temp-Hire position at SITE Staffing, Inc?
Applicants must be knowledgeable to mix paints to the customer specification, prime and finish painting the fabrications efficiently and to the proper dry film thickness required.
All fabrications that get painted are blasted to at least an SPC-6 finish. There is masking and protection of machined surfaces and threaded holes required as well.
Experience of several years painting steel fabrications required. We produce parts for a variety of OEM’s that are repetitive, and many that are one-time fabrications.
It is critical to have good attendance and approach each day with a positive attitude and respect for co-workers. Our painter must clean and maintain the equipment and keep a clean and organized workspace.
All the parts we produce are “critical” items that if the welds fail people can be injured or worse. The painter is our last inspector in our manufacturing process so being observant and a good communicator is critical in this position. Quality of workmanship is critical as well as safety.
