Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
Pay: $20 - $29/hr (based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Blanchard Grinder to join our team on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience operating Blanchard Grinders, with expertise in both Large Rotary (60") Blanchard Grinders and Reciprocating Surface Grinders. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operations, set-ups, precision grinding, and the ability to hold tight tolerances while producing high-quality surface finishes.

This role requires a strong understanding of machine operations, set-ups, precision grinding, and the ability to hold tight tolerances while producing high-quality surface finishes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Blanchard Grinders (both rotary and reciprocating) to grind parts to precise specifications.
- Set up machines for grinding, including blocking parts on the magnetic chuck.
- Grind angles, hold tight tolerances, and achieve quality surface finishes.
- Use a variety of inspection tools to check dimensions and surface quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Work with overhead cranes to move large parts safely (no lifting required).
- Follow general job shop procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure finished parts meet all specifications
Salary : $41,600 - $60,320
