Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial records.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic planning.
- Analyze debits and credits to maintain accurate financial records.
- Provide detailed financial reports as need and maintain accurate records in Quickbooks Desktop and Dispatcher Software.
- Process bi-weekly payroll in ADP Run Software and track equipment expenditures.
- Conduct audits for insurance policy and BWC compliance.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to confirm asset and liability accuracy.
- Provide detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage cash flow, bank deposits, and account transfers.
- Prepare and send invoices, handle sales tax filings and year end reporting
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and monthly financial reconciliations.
- Provide administrative support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks) is required 5 years of experience preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop
- Construction Industry Experience Preferred
