Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Hilliard, Ohio. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your accounting expertise and contribute to the smooth financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and experience with QuickBooks, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
• Process invoices, check requests, and reimbursements accurately within the accounting system.
• Verify the accuracy of supporting documentation and ensure proper coding.
• Investigate and resolve vendor statement discrepancies, including reconciling accounts.
• Assist in creating and maintaining vendor profiles, as well as managing annual 1099 filings.
• Record customer payments, resolve discrepancies, and address billing inquiries.
• Maintain and review accounts receivable aging reports, flagging overdue accounts.
• Partner with sales and operations teams to address outstanding accounts receivable issues.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and prepare financial reports.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, checks, and other financial documents.
• Provide support during audits and assist with administrative accounting tasks.
• Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial transactions.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with 1099 filings and vendor management processes.
