Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise database environments.
- Support development and maintenance of enterprise data warehouses and data marts.
- Design and optimize database structures to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and data integration workflows.
- Implement and support data warehouse architectures and analytical reporting environments.
- Monitor database performance and perform tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting activities.
- Support database backup, recovery, security, and disaster recovery processes.
- Design and implement data models including Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and normalized structures.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and develop solutions.
- Support reporting, analytics, and decision-support environments.
- Assist with database migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
- Support analytical and business intelligence initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and data governance standards.
- Participate in system planning, architecture reviews, and design sessions.
- Develop technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Support end-user reporting and data access requirements.
- Assist with troubleshooting complex database and ETL issues.
- 5 years of experience with database management systems, data warehouses, and decision-support tools.
- 5 years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouses and data marts.
- 5 years of experience with Business Objects and building data dictionaries.
- 5 years of experience using database access tools for application delivery.
- 5 years of experience with analysis, planning, and management reporting functions.
- 5 years of strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 5 years of experience working in collaborative team environments.
- 5 years of advanced analytical and problem-solving experience.
- 5 years of experience with benchmarking processes and performance optimization.
- 5 years of experience with data warehousing population and data modeling techniques including:

- 5 years of experience with GUI-based ETL tools such as:

- Similar ETL platforms
- 5 years of implementation experience with enterprise databases such as:

- 5 years of experience with analytical/reporting tools such as:
- Business Objects
- Cognos
- Hyperion
- MicroStrategy
- 5 years of experience supporting complete data warehouse implementations from:
- Business requirements gathering
- Logical and physical data modeling
- Data sourcing and transformation
- Data loading
- SQL development
- End-user reporting tools
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 5 years of Oracle Database experience.
- 5 years of SSRS report development experience.
- 1 year of M204 database experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise reporting environments.
- Experience with government or public sector data warehouse environments.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
