Staff Nurse - Inpatient Behavioral Health
- Completes an initial treatment plan including basic and special needs
- Treats and cares for patients demonstrating an understanding of cognitive, emotional and chronological status
- Anticipates and provides for discharge needs
- Charts the patient's progress in conjunction with the specific treatment plan.
- Utilizes available resources, including family, referral sources, prior treatment sources, and current multidisciplinary treatment team
- Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for the therapeutic milieu
- Validates the appropriateness of written orders
- Implements physician and nursing orders as appropriate involving the patient, family and significant others
- Competent group facilitation and 1:1 interactions

License and Certification
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- The Registered Nurse will have a current RN Licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Current CPR – BLS certification
- 1 year of nursing experience within the area of inpatient psychiatry — preferred
- Successful completion of Hospital and Unit orientation programs
Salary : $32 - $40
