Labor and employment law doesn't move in straight lines, one week it's a discrimination claim heading toward mediation, the next it's a general liability matter needing trial prep. Step into a seat where you'll handle both PA and NJ matters, backed by a firm that's grown to 140 legal professionals across 13 offices without losing the environment that got them there.
This isn't a single-lane L&E role. You're getting employment defense work and general liability/complex litigation in the same seat, which means broader trial and deposition reps, faster, than a narrower practice would give you. For someone two-plus years in who wants their docket to actually stretch them, that combination is rare.
What You'll Do
- Defend labor and employment claims from intake through resolution
- Handle liability claims, insurance defense matters, and complex litigation
- Draft pleadings and respond to written discovery
- Take depositions and participate in arbitrations and trials
- Manage matters independently across the PA and NJ markets
What You'll Need
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 2 years of experience, ideally defending labor and employment claims
- Experience with liability claims, insurance defense, and/or complex litigation
- Hands-on drafting, discovery, deposition, and arbitration/trial experience
- Strong academic credentials with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Active admission to both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars
