Full-Time Assistant Coach – Football Offensive Coordinator

Simpson College seeks qualified candidates for a Full Time Assistant Coach – Football – Offensive Coordinator.

Principal Duties

This Position Reports Directly To The Head Football Coach And Will Assist In Managing The Day-to-day Operations For The Football Program, Emphasizing

• Assist in the recruitment and retention of qualified student athletes and the development of sustainable, competitive rosters
• Assist in monitoring the academic progress of all student-athletes in the program
• Assist with the organization of the program's camps and clinics
• Assist with scheduling all competitions and events, as well as corresponding travel arrangements.
• Assist with fundraising support for program needs
• Manage & Supervise all aspects of the offensive side of the football program.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work with a diverse student and staff population
• Strong organization skills,
• Demonstrable aptitude for computer skills (PC-based Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel).
• The successful candidate will also have the ability to work as a team member as well as independently.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required and 3 years’ experience coaching at the collegiate level is preferred.
