What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Analyst position at Simple Staffing?
* Simple Staffing is hiring for this position on behalf of Fleet Cyber Command *
You will serve as a Program Analyst (Offensive Cyber Ops Fires Planner) in the OCO/IO Division (N04POCO), Cyberspace Operations – Integrated Planning Element (CO-IPE), U.S. Fleet Cyber Command (USFLTCYBERCOM). Your core responsibilities will include:
Operational Planning: Coordinate and synchronize OCO planning activities involved in Joint and interagency operational planning teams (OPTs) and working groups.
Integration Support: Provide planning support as an OCO, fires and effects, and special technical operations (STO) planner to facilitate the integration of OCO operations.
Mission Coordination: Assist OPT Leads in coordinating updated planned actions with partners to assure support and provide information essential for mission execution.
Representation: Represent the command as a key contributor to the deliberations of enterprise-level working groups and joint operational planning teams.
De-confliction: Participate in team meetings to provide the expert input required to de-conflict, coordinate, and integrate maneuvers, fires, and effects.
Targeting Expertise: Provide technical guidance regarding OCO targeting effects and possible collateral damage to inform leadership decisions during targeting boards.
Effectiveness Assessment: Assess the effectiveness of targeting information in guiding and informing “real world” cyber operations.
Course of Action: Support the implementation of proposed courses of action endorsed by the chain of command.
Process Improvement: Make recommendations to leadership for improved methods to evaluate inputs, define and prioritize targets, and disseminate target orders.
Policy Analysis: Conduct policy analyses to address possible implications for anticipated OCO actions and advise seniors on likely effects across the entire spectrum of conflict.
