Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Clinical Administrator & Supervisor) Job Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision for 2–3 Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and other clinicians
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment plan reviews
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards of care
- Support the clinic’s credentialing and licensing process
- Collaborate with leadership to develop efficient workflows and uphold clinical excellence
- Offer mentorship, training, and guidance to staff and interns
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Clinical Administrator & Supervisor) Job Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Rhode Island
- Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure experience in behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Compassionate, ethical, and team-oriented approach
