About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ATTP Techno-Functional Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP) solutions for a large pharmaceutical client. This role requires a strong blend of functional expertise, technical integration knowledge, and pharmaceutical serialization experience.

While the role is remote, candidates located near Foster City, CA or willing to travel occasionally are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design, implementation, and optimization of SAP ATTP solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while designing AS-IS and TO-BE process flows.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, CMOs, and 3PL partners.
• Design and document serialization, commissioning, aggregation, packing, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Configure SAP ATTP repository systems, business partners, locations (GLNs), GTINs, SSCCs, and master data.
• Design and map GS1 EPCIS messages for CMOs and 3PL integrations.
• Configure ATTP rules, schemas, authentication, and secure partner communications.
• Collaborate with middleware teams using Dell Boomi, AS2, SFTP, and Web Services.
• Create Implementation Guidelines (IGs) and Mapping Specifications for external partners.
• Lead external partner onboarding and end-to-end integration testing.
• Author and execute validation documentation in compliance with GAMP 5 and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Support SAP RISE discovery assessments and provide upgrade recommendations to leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance with global serialization regulations including US DSCSA and EU FMD.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10 years of SAP consulting experience with strong functional expertise.
• 1–2 full lifecycle SAP ATTP implementations as a Functional or Techno-Functional Consultant.
• Experience leading workstreams in enterprise SAP transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain, packaging, serialization, and aggregation.

• EPCIS Messaging
• Dell Boomi
• EDI/ALE Integrations
• AS2, SFTP, Web Services
• Experience working with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PLs).
• Strong understanding of GAMP 5 and 21 CFR Part 11 validation processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting SAP RISE upgrades and discovery assessments.
• Experience with global pharmaceutical serialization implementations.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and solution design skills.
