We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team in Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Reactive Programming (WebFlux), Microservices, and Apache Kafka, with experience building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.
Required Skills
- 7 years of Java development experience.
- Expert-level knowledge of Java 17/21 (Records, Sealed Classes, Pattern Matching, Enhanced Switch Expressions).
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience developing Reactive applications using Spring WebFlux & Project Reactor.
- Strong expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Extensive experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Event-Driven Architecture).
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience participating in code reviews and following clean coding best practices.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.

- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD and continuous improvement initiatives.
