We are currently seeking a Cook who is passionate about making a difference for our North Shore Community!

Qualifications:
- One year food preparation and cooking experience including, but not limited to: grilling, sautéing, broiling, frying, and baking.
- Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health
- Knowledge and understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to read and understand menus and recipes, substituting equivalents of equal nutritional value when appropriate
- Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related disease
- Associates must have reliable means of transportation to consistently meet attendance and punctuality standards. This role does not require a valid driver’s license or personal vehicle unless specified in additional job requirements
What you'll be doing:
- Prepare and serve the residents in our community
- Ensure all dietary needs are prepared and met
- Prepared modified food as directed
- Ensures accuracy, quality, presentation, and timeliness of food items
- Performs other duties as needed
Anticipated pay range: $20 USD - $23 USD
