Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Backlit Solvent Media Printer to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wide-format printers, particularly those that print on backlit solvent media. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality graphics and signage for various applications, including marketing materials, indoor displays, and other visual communication solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain wide-format printers specifically designed for backlit solvent media printing.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Prepare and load backlit solvent media onto printing machines according to specifications.
- Calibrate printers and perform color management tasks to achieve accurate color reproduction.
- Monitor print jobs throughout the production process to ensure high-quality output and adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to prevent downtime and maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to understand project requirements and align on deadlines.
- Ensure that all printed materials meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or degree in printing technology or a related field is a plus.
- Basic Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with operating systems, software applications (e.g., word processors, spreadsheets), and internet communication, along with basic troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy rolls of media and equipment as needed.
- Spend extended periods standing, walking, or performing repetitive motions.
- Manual dexterity for fine adjustments and equipment operation.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
