Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze costs, negotiate contracts, and ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects using Bluebeam and SolidWorks.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary information for effective pricing.
- Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
- Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid packages and presenting estimates to stakeholders.
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinetry estimating.
- Familiarity with estimating software such as Bluebeam and SolidWorks is preferable.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with experience in contract management.
- Solid background in cost control practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
