What are the responsibilities and job description for the Steakhouse-Server position at Silver Slipper Casino Venture LLC?
Primary function of the server position is to accurately and efficiently take food and beverage orders and delivers these items in a timely manner. Food and wine knowledge is extremely important.
- Greet and communicate with the guests in a friendly, courteous manner and offer a beverage within a two minute time frame;
- Explain any special offerings from the chef, menu additions or deletions;
- Accurately operate the POS system;
- Practice proper table maintenance, removing used plates and utensils, keeping table free of debris;
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the dining room;
- Accurately close out the check with the bartender;
- Opening and side work is required;
- Preparation is a key ingredient in being able to deliver quality service;
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Education
Preferred- High School or better
