What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buffet - Hostess/Cashier position at Silver Slipper Casino Venture LLC?
Primary purpose of the Buffet Hostess/Cashier is to greet guests with a warm smile and seat them at a clean table. The Hostess/Cashier must control the flow of guests entering the buffet and handle all cashier responsibilities including cash, credit cards and comps.
Essential Job Functions:
- Excellent internal/external guest service;
- Be aware of the sections in the buffet that are open, staffed and ready for service;
- Greet guests with a smile and inquire as to the number of guests in the party and verify this with the receipt they hand you;
- Circulate through restaurant and coordinate activities of service personnel to provide fast and courteous service to guests;
- Inspect and monitor cleanliness of room and compliance with safety and health code regulations;
- All side work as assigned;
- Other reasonable duties as assigned
Education
Preferred- High School or better
