Financial Accounting Manager

Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of accounting information to company

Essential Job Functions:

• Excellent internal/external guest service;
• Instruct/train accounting personnel on proper procedures and performance of job duties;
• Prepares annual budget, regular and special reports as required;
• Meet all tax and reporting deadlines for the Mississippi Tax/Gaming Commission, IRS, Management Agreement, Debt Agreements, etc.;
• Ensure accurate recording of all accounting entries;
• Oversee month end closing for accuracy;
• Monitor all general ledger transactions for accuracy;
• Produce any accounting reports as needed;
• Establish and communicate any special accounting processing schedule;
• Maintain a positive atmosphere of teamwork between Accounting employees and other department employees;
• Other reasonable job duties as assigned.
