Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of accounting information to company
Essential Job Functions:
- Excellent internal/external guest service;
- Instruct/train accounting personnel on proper procedures and performance of job duties;
- Prepares annual budget, regular and special reports as required;
- Meet all tax and reporting deadlines for the Mississippi Tax/Gaming Commission, IRS, Management Agreement, Debt Agreements, etc.;
- Ensure accurate recording of all accounting entries;
- Oversee month end closing for accuracy;
- Monitor all general ledger transactions for accuracy;
- Produce any accounting reports as needed;
- Establish and communicate any special accounting processing schedule;
- Maintain a positive atmosphere of teamwork between Accounting employees and other department employees;
- Other reasonable job duties as assigned.
