Silver Lake Middle School is seeking a long term substitute special education teacher anticipated to last for the month of October 2025.
Certification in Severe Disabilities is preferred.
Duties include: supporting students with language learning disabilities in a general education setting or sub-separate setting, developing rigorous curriculum in ELA and Math that aligns with Mass Curriculum Frameworks, teaching social pragmatics, providing academic support within the LBLC and within inclusive settings, co-teaching, chairing annual IEP meetings, writing IEPs, completing progress notes, communicating with caregivers and outside providers, proctoring MCAS exams, and other duties to be assigned by building administration.
Salary is $308.39 per day for the duration of the assignment.
